Processing and analyzing survey responses and event data
Generating AI-powered analytics and insights (data is not used to train AI models)

Information Collection and Use
We may collect personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you, including your name and email address ("Personal Information").
Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:
Account information (name, email address)
Event registration details
Survey responses
Organization memberships and roles
Telegram account information such as Telegram ID (only collected when you choose to sign up using Telegram)
Uploaded files or images (if any)
Payment metadata (provided by Stripe)
Authentication metadata such as login timestamps and device information
Interaction and usage data
Guest Users: Guests who register for events without creating an account may provide personal data such as name, email address, and responses to event-related questions. This information is shared with event hosts, stored as part of event data, and included in AI-generated analytics. Guest data is never used to train AI models.
Telegram Sign-In Users: If you choose to register or authenticate using Telegram, we collect your Telegram ID for the purpose of identifying your account. We do not collect your phone number, contacts, or any private messaging data. Your Telegram ID will be permanently deleted if you delete your account.
We make it clear throughout the Service when your data is shared with third-parties. We are not responsible for how third-parties choose to use the data shared with them.
AI and Data Processing
We use AI services (OpenAI API) to generate analytics from survey responses, event activity, and organizational data. Your data is processed solely to generate insights and is not used to train AI models.
Log Data
We collect standard log information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps, and related diagnostic data for security and analytics.
Cookies
We use essential authentication cookies only. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Access Token Cookie (Essential) — used to authenticate you. Short-lived.
Refresh Token Cookie (Essential) — used to keep you logged in.
These cookies are HTTP-only, Secure, sent only over HTTPS, and protected with SameSite policies.
International Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and stored on servers outside Singapore, including the United States and European Union. We work only with vendors that implement strong security and data protection measures in compliance with the Singapore PDPA.
Service Providers
We share limited data with trusted service providers:
Supabase: secure data storage
Stripe: payment processing
Amazon SES: email delivery
OpenAI: AI analytics
Google: authentication
Our approved subprocessors may change as we expand our Service, but all providers must meet strong security standards.
Security
We take commercially reasonable steps to protect your Personal Information, but no method of digital transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Data Retention
All data in the Service is linked to your user account. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted, including event records, survey responses, and organizational data.
Event data: Retained unless the event host deletes the event.
Survey responses: Retained until deleted by the organization or user.
Payment records: Retained for up to 5 years to comply with legal requirements.
Log data: Retained for a limited period for security purposes.
Telegram ID: Deleted permanently when your account is deleted.
Your Rights
Where permitted by law, you may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling such requests.
You may withdraw consent for our collection or use of your personal data at any time by contacting us at support@opine.asia. Withdrawing consent may limit your ability to use parts of the Service.
Children's Privacy
Our Service is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that a child has provided data, we will delete it immediately.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting.
If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on our website.
